100% satisfaction guaranteed!
I find it interesting that this would be found printed on the box of a pregnancy test. I think that at best, they would only be able to guarantee 50% satisfaction depending on the answer that you were hoping for!
And no, Melissa is not pregnant. Sorry folks!
I think we underestimate the sneakiness
i got an email today from a friend of mine that had some information in it about the most recent arms deal that Bush is making with Saudi-Arabia.
on one hand, i can understand why we are arming the saudis … from a purely economic perspective, it costs less to fight a war over oil, and [...]
F.U.D.
I’m on an email list that has quite a bit of traffic… it is mostly focused on design related topics, but occasionally will stray a bit… Today, one of the members posted this, which was a forwarded email he got from someone else:
“My mom (who works at the Metro Nashville Juvenile DA’s office) called and [...]
Dry Irish Wit
is wit, without the whiskey.
i went to the local Publix today… and on my way through the checkout, the girl behind the counter gives me the total. i hunted for some change in my pockets for a second, and then said ‘Sorry, no change’. She says ‘No change?’ … and I said, ‘Well, I could [...]
Bank of America Online
So for the last several weeks, I’ve been trying to get access to my BOA banking / credit card information online. The main hitch has been that last year we opened an emergency checking account with BOA for Melissa’s family, and never activated our debit cards. See, in order to access online banking for my [...]

I think it must have been 9th grade. That has to have been the last time that anyone has teased me about my name. I’ll be the first to admit that my last name is not what could be considered ‘normal’. I am certainly not a ‘Smith’ or ‘Jones’. Today I’m flying out of Nashville’s [...]
16Dec2007 | Jim | 2 comments | ContinuedI’m feeling a bit boxed in lately.
So a friend of mine is in Texas taking care of his mom who has been diagnosed with leukemia. He and his wife live right down the road from us, and we’ve been watching their house and cats while they are away. Well… he is in the same industry I’m in, and he left his [...]
14Dec2007 | Jim | 0 comments | ContinuedSouthwest Airlines… worst web customer service award!
Yesterday I was reserving a flight from BNA (Nashville) to LAX (Los Angeles) and realized that I hadn’t ever used my ‘Rapid Rewards’ membership (Southwest Airlines’ version of frequent flier miles). In fact, I had thought that I had never actually gotten a login for the membership area from them, so I decided to [...]
